Today marks 19 years since I first hit “publish” on liviutudor.com. What started as a personal space to tinker with thoughts and tech experiments has evolved into a living archive of ideas, rants, code snippets, career reflections, and countless lessons learned along the way. I never imagined back then that I’d still be writing here nearly two decades later, and yet this blog has been one of the few constants through every career shift, geographic move, and wave of technological change.
Over the years, this space has grown with me. From early posts about systems programming and database tuning to deeper dives into engineering leadership, product strategy, AI, and startup life — it’s been a sandbox for thinking out loud and connecting with a global audience of curious minds. Some of my favorite moments came from unexpected conversations sparked by a post or someone saying “I read that on your blog!”. Whether you’ve been reading for years or just stumbled upon it recently, thank you for being part of the journey.
As I look ahead to year 20, I plan to keep pushing the boundaries of what I explore here — especially around the intersection of AI, engineering culture, and the future of software. This blog is still my corner of the internet to write freely, learn publicly, and share generously. Here’s to another year of curiosity, creativity, and community. Happy 19th birthday, blog — and thank you all for reading!
